Julia Murney

Born in State College, PA, and named after the song “Julia” on the Beatles’ White Album, Julia Murney first came to attention off-Broadway as Queenie in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, earning a Drama Desk nomination for her performance. After several years of performing with the national touring company production of Wicked in the role of Elphaba, Murney was the replacement for the role on Broadway in 2007.
