I was so impressed with Julie and Carol at Carnegie Hall when I saw it on TV that I was sure there was going to be an LP, even though that wasn't customary for tv shows. I bought it as soon as it was available and fortunately, I had the visuals in my mind to accompany the recording. Burnett's "Meantime" may be a revelation to those who know her only as a comedienne. I still remember most of the lyrics to "The Things I Like Best" from the Pratt Family Singers. I much prefer the Carnegie Hall to the Lincoln Center show and I'm sure it's because of the focus on show music in the first. I'm glad these are back for others to hear.

They rocked this time. both of them are perfect character on screen and audience loved they fight and love each other. Great efforts of the directors here comes. appreciated the story also.

Short of paying triple-price for an import or US international postage, most of this label's CDs are not available outside the USA. This site even goes to extreme lengths to deny sales of digital downloads internationally. Easier to wait for free versions to turn up online...

They should sell it outside the US also. Good to hear4d that Julie and Carol has been re-released. But it should be release at other places too.

I hope it will be made available outside the US. The last (and only) Legends release I can see on iTunes is the Bernadette Peters release from 2006.

geoffas is correct. The Lincoln Center portion of this 2-disc album has never been released in digital form until now on the Masterworks site. It will not be available from iTunes until May 8. If you got it there you got a pirated version.

The Masterworks store only sells to the US, so I don't know what other digital download options exist to check the sound quality of this release. What I got yesterday was definitely not 'sparkling' - 'gurgling' would have been closer to the truth.

I don't think this version is yet available on iTunes. The previous release of just the "Carnegie Hall" album was made available a couple of years ago. Isn't this new release exclusive to the Masterworks site until May 8? I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about the sound quality if the opinion refers to the previous release.

I bought the album off iTunes. The sound quality is extremely poor, like a bad telephone call overheard in the bathroom next door. Also the order and name of tracks from this album when downloaded do not correspond to what is displayed in the store. If you buy one track, you will not get the correct one.
