    One of the most popular musicals ever created, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s colorful Phantom of the Opera, based on Gaston Leroux’s Gothic novel, has been heard around the world, including Mexico where it premiered at Centro Cultural Telmex on December 16, 1999, and where this recording was made. In it, Juan Navarro played the Phantom, while Irasema Terrazas was Christine and José Joel portrayed Raoul.
