    How can The Essential Broadwy leave out Gilbert & Sullivan? Joseph Papp revived the PIRATES OF PENZANCE in the early 1980's. It starred Kevin Kline, Estelle Parsons, and Linda Ronstadt. Won 3 Tonys, including best revival of a musical.
