Happy Anniversary Magdalena, Urinetown & Annie Get Your Gun!
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the exotic and unconventional musical Magdalena, which opened at the Ziegfeld Theatre 66 years ago on September 20, 1948. It has also been 13 years since Urinetown opened at the Henry Miller Theatre in 2001. September 21st also marks 48 years since the Lincoln Center Revival of Annie Get Your Gun moved to the Broadway Theatre in 1966.
