I probably am not an unbiased commentator, having been in the Original Broadway cast and on this album. It was a teriffic experience, a teriffic show (why is it not revived more often?) and a teriffic album. Still...............I so wish Howard DiSilva had been well enough to have recorded the album or money available to do his parts at a later session and patch them in. Do not misunderstand me, Rex Everhardt is a wonderful substitute and he made the role very much his own in the national tour with Brian Bedford as John Adams (imagine Lady Bracknell as John Adams if you can).
