Darling Of The Day 1968 Photos Resurfaced From The #MWBVault

Based on the novel Buried Alive by Arnold Bennett, Darling of the Day was set in England in 1905. The show deals with with a famous painter, Vincent Price, who comes back home after a long absence and decides to swap identity with his recently deceased valet in order to better study his contemporaries without constraint or social obligations. The score contained an energetic set of musical numbers, and flourished with the voice of Patricia Routledge, who was awarded a Tony for the performance. View the photos below!
