Also known as “The Abominable Showman”, David Merrick produced almost ninety plays and musicals on Broadway over his long career. His long list of successful plays include Oliver! (1963), Hello, Dolly! (1964), and 42nd Street (1980). During his career, Merrick produced an average of six plays and musicals each season, many of which can be heard here.
