Kinky Boots Creators Join Hollywood Hall of Fame and West End Cast Edition out now!
Creators of Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, Cindy Lauper and Harvey Fierstein will be joining the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 11th with stars on the famed pavement in front of the Pantage Theater. Cindy Lauper will be receiving it in the category of Recording and Harvey Fierstein for Live Performance.
Following it’s huge success, the Olivier Award nominee Kinky Boots (Original West End Cast Recording) transferred from Broadway to London’s West End in September 2015 and has since become a favorite with UK Theater goers having won the London Evening Standard BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical and the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Musical. Today, Broadway’s huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, Kinky Boots’ West End Cast Recording, which was recorded live with the current cast at the Adelphi Theater, was released!
